Welcome to Venice!

Join us on this unique journey, where yoga practice merges with the magic of Venice, and let yourself be transported by the harmony of body, mind and spirit in one of the most enchanting places in the world.

We will start our day with a deep practice of Vinyasa yoga, guided by Margherita who will lead you on an inner journey in search of balance and serenity. Through breath and movement, we will learn to connect with our inner self, letting the stillness of the lagoon inspire us. Recharge yourself with new energy!

Margherita will guide you through yoga practices, breathing exercises and meditation, but not only. We will experience other somatic practices, including pilates and free movement, and we will have wonderful experiences and rituals in the open air in the city where all the elements flow, first of all water. Together we will share moments of joy and lightness. From the dinners prepared for us by Tocia! or in the traditional Venetian bacari, every moment will be an opportunity to smile, slow down everyday life and enjoy the company of others or relaxation.

Yoga style

Margherita is trained in Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, plays the harmonium, teaches Pilates, is a dancer, teaches myofascial training techniques and Pilates. She studies breathwork techniques and let's be honest, she likes to have fun! Expect a mix of all of this during the lesson!

The morning lesson will be more intense. It offers variations and support for those who are just starting out, but gives those who already rock the opportunity to let loose on the mat. The evening practice will include workshops, yin and hatha yoga, somatic practices

Important

The program may be subject to time changes to include a trip to the Lido or by boat to one of the Islands to participate in a local event (activities that will be coordinated based on the weather).

 

Useful info

  • Let's face it: Venice is full of hotels and rooms for rent. I recommend the Combo, the wonderful former Crociferi Jesuit monastery. It's very close to where we'll be doing the practice. Book just the overnight stay!

  • In Italy, food is important :)

    The first evening, dinner will be in the house where we will do yoga practices. The Venetian research cooking project Tocia! will cook for us. Marco and the Tocia! staff will also take care of preparing all the post-practice brunches.

    For the other evenings, one evening will be dedicated to visiting a classic Venetian bacaro for spritz and ritual cicchetti, one evening we will be at the lido, for the other evenings dinners will be organized based on everyone's wishes.

  • Bring with you comfortable clothes for practicing, some swimsuits because we will definitely go to the beach, and a white outfit

 
 

How much is it?

  • The cost of the retreat is 420 Euro per person.

What is included:

  • 1 Personal Growth Workshop;

  • 4 Vinyasa practices, suitable for all levels, with sessions on Pranayama, breathing techniques, meditation, Kirtan;

  • 3 Somatic practices, Yin, Hatha, meditation;

  • Rituals, ceremonies and outdoor activities.

What is NOT included:

  • Overnight stays, which we recommend you book freely at Combo;

  • Brunches, organized by Tocia! where we have yoga

  • Dinners (consider between 30 and 50 Euro per dinner, depending also on what we choose together);

  • Any visits and travel around the city.
